Carmelita Gardens

In 2010, Carmelita Gardens, Belize, was planned and permitted as a “small off-grid town” with a village green, a market square, civic buildings, gardens, orchards, green spaces, and riverside parks. Carmelita Gardens is now a self-sufficient riverfront community with charming cottages, delightful homes, luxury villas, and most importantly, individual residents creating a new town in the Heartland of Belize. Located on 98 acres of fertile land on the Belize River in Western Belize, Carmelita Gardens is a place for people who want to be “Independent Together.”
